Job summary

JLL in Sumner, WA is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the building. You will install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment and mentor junior technicians.

The role emphasizes safety, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and collaboration with the facility team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of repair experience on material handling equipment.
• 2+ years performing predictive and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety and follow procedures throughout shifts.
• Perform preventative maintenance with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on MHE (belts, motors, sensors).
• Maintain good relations with facility operations teams.
• Track and store department inventory; travel up to 20%.
