Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Mechatronics and Robotics Technician to support maintenance and operation of building systems inside client facilities. You will repair and improve MHE and robotic systems, ensuring uptime and safety.

The role requires hands-on problem solving with electrical and mechanical systems, documentation of PMs, and collaboration with the Client and Operations team. CBRE offers a robust benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of related experience and/or training.
• Proficiency using computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using powered or non-powered hand tools.
• Ability to move up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and general instructions.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Solve electrical and mechanical issues related to all MHE, including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, etc.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Complete and properly document preventative maintenance routines.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Cultivate positive working relationships with our Client and Operations Maintenance team members.
• Perform other job-related duties as needed or assigned.
