Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Mechatronics and Robotics Technician to support highly automated fulfillment environments. You will diagnose faults across electrical, mechanical, and controls layers, troubleshoot energized systems safely, and own equipment reliability outcomes.

Responsibilities include performing planned and corrective maintenance, documenting actions in CMMS, and collaborating with reliability and engineering partners to reduce repeat failures.

Qualifications

• One or more years of hands on technical maintenance experience in an industrial setting.
• Demonstrated electrical and mechanical troubleshooting ability.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Comfortable using digital maintenance tools and CMMS.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Restore failed automation and robotic systems to operational condition through structured troubleshooting.
• Take technical ownership of equipment zones and critical assets.
• Execute planned and corrective maintenance with accurate documentation.
• Identify repeat failure patterns and recommend improvements.
• Support rapid response repair during downtime.
• Maintain readiness of spare parts, tools, and test equipment.
• Provide feedback to reliability and engineering teams on failure points.
