Job summary

C&W Services is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance Team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across our facility. You will install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment to keep operations running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of hands-on experience with MHE or automated conveyors, and a solid background in electrical and mechanical maintenance, with CMMS

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience repairing material handling equipment (MHE) or automated conveyors and controls.
• 2+ years of experience performing predictive and preventative maintenance.
• 1+ year of blueprint and electrical schematic reading.
• 1+ year of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles.
• Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation; troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems.
• Create, assign, and close out work orders with data including labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.
• Maintain positive working relationships across the Operations facility.
