Job summary

JLL is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the building.

You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, and mentor junior technicians as they grow in their roles. The role emphasizes safety and collaboration within the facilities team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years repairing material handling equipment.
• 2+ years performing predictive and preventative maintenance.
• Associates or higher in mechanical/electrical field preferred.
• 2+ years with automated conveyor systems and controls.
• 1+ year blueprint reading and electrical schematics.
• 1+ year electrical principles knowledge.
• Experience with CMMS.
• Experience with robotic/electromechanical maintenance.
• Able to troubleshoot basic I/O.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE (belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, etc.).
• Maintain positive working relationships across Operations facilities.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Move up to 49 lbs and stand/walk during shifts up to 12 hours.
• Possible travel up to 20%.
