Job summary

JLL in New York is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment and mentor junior technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years repair experience with material handling equipment.
• 2+ years preventive and predictive maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the facility.
• Install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Mentor junior technicians.
• Promote safety and complete preventative maintenance with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in MHE (belts, motors, relays, sensors).
• Track and store department inventory.
• Move up to 49 lbs and stand/walk up to 12-hour shifts.
