Job summary

JLL is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician in Appleton, WI to support the Operations Maintenance team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the building. The role offers opportunities to install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment while mentoring junior technicians.

Candidates should have 2+ years in MHE repair and preventative maintenance, and the ability to read electrical schematics and work with CMMS

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Able to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• 2+ years of experience repairing material handling equipment.
• 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, etc.
• Maintain a positive working relationship across all Operations facilities.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Move up to 49 lbs and stand/walk during shifts up to 12 hours with or without accommodations.
• Possible travel up to 20%.
