Job summary

C&W Services is seeking a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to lead service technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will design solutions for challenging problems and manage projects within the Operations Maintenance Team.

You will train and mentor junior technicians and contract technicians, promote safety, and maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems and control components throughout the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience with material handling equipment (MHE) such as automated conveyors and controls.
• 4+ years of experience conducting preventative maintenance.
• 4+ years reading blueprints and schematics.
• 3+ years with CMMS.
• 2+ years with PLC programs.
• Experience leading and mentoring technicians.
• Vendor management experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
• Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts.

Responsibilities

• Safety: Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems; install and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors and actuators.
• Monitoring: Create, assign, and close work orders with labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts.
• Support: Lead and audit preventative maintenance; mentor junior technicians.
• Communication: Maintain a positive relationship across the Operations facility.
