Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Apprentice (MRA) in Dallas, TX. You will learn to combine electronic, mechanical, computer and automation engineering skills while working with high-performance manufacturing systems, analyzing, troubleshooting and repairing to maintain process efficiency.

You will be mentored by senior technicians, paired with journey workers across facilities, and complete work from technical documents while complying with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Associate degree or above preferred.
• 1+ years of Amazon RME experience or vocational/technical training.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative/predictive maintenance of conveyance equipment using plans and manuals.
• Conduct maintenance and basic troubleshooting of robotics and work cells.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems in MHE components.
• Maintain motors, sensors, relays and related equipment; ensure safe operation.
