Job summary

Vantedge Medical seeks a Mechatronics Operator to safely run automated manufacturing equipment on the 2nd shift in Connecticut. You will perform basic mechanical adjustments, preventive maintenance, and routine troubleshooting to minimize downtime while ensuring high quality and traceability of parts.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, plus technical training. Prior manufacturing or automation experience is a plus; willing to learn and grow within a lean, safety-focused

Qualifications

Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to interpret work instructions and documentation.
Ability to learn and operate automated manufacturing equipment.
Willingness to work overtime and support production schedules.

Responsibilities

Safely operate automated assembly equipment and production cells.
Meet production, quality, and efficiency targets.
Monitor equipment performance and respond to alarms and faults.
Perform basic machine resets and minor adjustments.
Complete production documentation and ensure traceability.
Maintain a clean, organized work area following 5S principles.
Escalate complex issues to Mechatronic Technicians.
