Job summary

Fanatics is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to support production and distribution operations at our Winona, MN site. You will perform equipment setup, routine and preventive maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting across a high-mix, low-volume environment, applying automation and prepress knowledge to improve safety and efficiency.

You will mentor operators, collaborate with the maintenance team, run tests on color profiles and throughput, and help develop tooling and fixtures.

Qualifications

Technical diploma or equivalent experience in mechatronics, mechanical, or electrical systems.
Experience operating and troubleshooting a variety of production equipment in a manufacturing setting.
Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to work with PLCs, VFDs, servo drives, and I/O devices.

Responsibilities

Teach and train staff on equipment setup, maintenance routines, and troubleshooting to optimize output.
Collaborate with Maintenance to perform preventive and corrective work on digital and mechanical equipment.
Support prototyping, data collection, time studies, and documentation of processes and safety checklists.
Contribute to automation initiatives across digital workflows and physical processes.
