Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Mechatronics Maintenance Technician III to maintain high-tech manufacturing and automated equipment in a dynamic logistics environment. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and work with robots, automated guided systems, and CIM equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience maintaining Industrial Electronic and Electrical systems
• Ability to work at heights up to 125 feet and pass Fall Protection Training
• Flex scheduling with potential overtime, including weekends
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and computerized scanner equipment
• Strong mathematical and analytical thinking skills
• Knowledge of engineering science and technology applications
• Strong knowledge of design techniques and tools
• Proficiency in computers and electronics
• Knowledge of production processing

Responsibilities

• Perform continuous operational checks of equipment and preventive maintenance
• Repair and replace defective electrical and mechanical parts on equipment
• Capable of working at heights and in confined spaces; use of ladders, cranes and hand tools
• Lift and maneuver equipment of various weights
• Work around electromagnetic fields near production equipment
• Maintain safety and fall protection standards
• Provide technical recommendations for facility and equipment design improvements
• Prepare maintenance reports and share information with stakeholders
