Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Mechatronics Maintenance Tech II for the Clayton, IN area on the 2nd shift (Tuesday–Friday, 5:30 pm–4:00 am).

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical components, and contribute to safety and efficiency in a high-tech warehouse environment. The role requires at least 1 year of industrial electronics experience, comfort with heights up to 125 feet, and the ability to work overtime and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience maintaining industrial electronic and electrical systems
• Ability to work at heights up to 125 ft
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends
• Experience with Microsoft Office and scanner equipment
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Knowledge of engineering science and technology applications
• Knowledge of production processing

Responsibilities

• Perform continuous operational checks of equipment and preventive maintenance
• Repair and replace defective electrical and mechanical parts on equipment
• Capable of working at heights and in confined spaces
• Lift, carry, push, and pull equipment as needed
• Prepare maintenance reports and charts for stakeholders
• Support facility and equipment design improvements
