Mechatronics Maintenance Tech III - 2nd Shift - Clayton, IN

Shift: 2nd Shift – Tuesday to Friday, 5:30 pm – 4:00 am

As a Mechatronics Maintenance Technician III, you will utilize mechanical, electrical, computer, and software skills to maintain, repair, and improve advanced manufacturing equipment such as robots, automated guided systems, and computer‑integrated manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform continuous operational checks of equipment and conduct preventive maintenance.
• Repair and replace defective electrical and mechanical parts on equipment.
• Work at heights of up to 125 ft, climb ladders, enter confined spaces, and perform a variety of physical tasks (stooping, bending, twisting, kneeling, crawling, etc.).
• Lift, carry, push, and pull equipment of various weights.
• Use hand/arm and hearing/head protection (gloves, earmuffs, helmets).
• Operate in areas with electromagnetic fields produced by production equipment.

Qualifications – Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience maintaining Industrial Electronic and Electrical systems, with related academic coursework in Industrial Electronics, Robotics, or Mechatronics.
• Ability to work at heights up to 125 ft and pass Fall Protection Training.
• Availability for a flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and computerized scanner equipment.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of engineering science and technology, design techniques/tools, and production processing.
• Proficiency in computers and electronics.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment.
• Warehousing or Third‑Party Logistics (3PL) experience.
