Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Computer Engineering, with an anticipated graduation date of 2028.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, programming, and troubleshooting of PLC, HMI, servo, motion control, and robotic systems.
• Work alongside the Controls Engineering team to support and improve plant automation systems.
• Monitor automation equipment performance and address issues impacting production operations.
• Perform root cause analysis on equipment and process-related problems and assist in corrective actions.
• Support the development and execution of solutions for emerging automation challenges
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to improve system reliability and operational efficiency.
• Participate in testing, commissioning, and validation activities for automation projects.
• Document automation system updates, troubleshooting activities, and project improvements.
