Applied Intuition, Inc. is seeking an integration engineer to bring autonomous haulage and heavy equipment platforms to life in mining.

You will own integration of drive-by-wire, sensors, compute, and networking on large off-road vehicles, taking each machine from bare platform to fully commissioned autonomous vehicle on live customer sites. Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years in vehicle, robotics, or embedded systems integration.
• Experience integrating autonomous or embedded vehicle systems.
• Strong debugging across electrical, networking, and software layers.
• Working knowledge of vehicle networks (CAN/J1939) and Ethernet-based sensor/compute architectures.
• Proficiency in Linux and Python, with the ability to read/modify C++.
• Willingness to travel and work onsite at industrial locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead vehicle bring up and commissioning for autonomous haul trucks and heavy equipment, from drive-by-wire and sensor installation through calibration, validation, and customer sign-off.
• Debug across the hardware/software boundary, including CAN/J1939, Ethernet, time synchronization, and sensor drivers.
• Build the tooling, diagnostics, and integration processes that make each new vehicle faster and more reliable to deploy.
• Plan and execute brake, steering, and system-level test campaigns that support functional safety and regulatory compliance.
• Work directly with OEMs, hardware vendors, and customer engineering teams, including time on active mine and quarry sites.
