Job summary

Applied Intuition, Inc. is seeking an integration engineer to bring autonomous haulage and heavy equipment platforms to life in the mining industry.

You will own the integration of drive-by-wire, sensors, compute, and networking on large off-road vehicles, and work with platform teams to take each machine from bare platform to fully commissioned autonomous vehicle on a live customer site. Lead vehicle bring up and commissioning for autonomous trucks, debugging CAN/J1939 and Ethernet, and

Qualifications

BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics or CS or equivalent practical experience.
2+ years in vehicle, robotics, or embedded systems integration.
Experience integrating autonomous or embedded vehicle systems.
Strong debugging across electrical, networking and software layers.
Knowledge of CAN/J1939 and Ethernet networks for sensor/compute.
Proficiency in Linux and Python; ability to read/modify C++.
Willingness to travel and work onsite at industrial locations.

Responsibilities

Lead vehicle bring up and commissioning for autonomous haul trucks and heavy equipment.
Debug across hardware/software boundary (CAN/J1939, Ethernet, time sync, sensor drivers).
Build tooling, diagnostics, and integration processes for faster deployments.
Plan and execute brake, steering, and system-level test campaigns for safety/compliance.
Collaborate with OEMs, hardware vendors, and customer teams on mine sites.
