Job summary

Cleveland State Community College in Cleveland, Tennessee, seeks an Advanced Technologies Instructor (9/10 Mo-Tenure Track) to teach and assess students in mechanical, electrical, or industrial/ manufacturing engineering topics.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, strong instructional skills, and the ability to teach across hands-on labs and classroom formats at multiple campus sites. On-site work with occasional online delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or related field with competencies in related areas.
• Advanced degree or demonstrated teaching excellence in related fields is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach classes on-site and online as applicable.
• Fulfill all instructional requirements per college and TBR policies.
• Remain current in instructional field and effective teaching methodologies.
• Maintain office hours and assist students with advising and support.
• Participate in meetings and maintain records and grades.
