Job summary

Cleveland State Community College in Cleveland, Tennessee invites applications for an Advanced Technologies Instructor (9/10 Mo-Tenure Track). The position supports our Advanced Technologies department with on-site teaching across five-county service areas and online delivery as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or closely related field; or equivalent credentials.
• Competencies through professional industry certification, professional employment, or teaching excellence in related fields.

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach classes on-site in accordance with course descriptions and syllabi.
• Fulfill instructional requirements required by Cleveland State Community College and Tennessee Board of Regents.
• Remain current in instructional field and teaching methodologies.
• Maintain minimum 37.5 hours per week and office hours with approvals as needed.
• Be accessible to students for advising and academic assistance.
• Participate in institutional and academic unit meetings.
• Maintain and safeguard records and report grades.
• Comply with college and board policies and procedures.
• Support recruitment and retention efforts.
