Job summary

Georgia Department of Revenue seeks an Adjunct Instructor for IDSY/Auto Man/Mechatronics to teach and mentor students in industrial systems and automated manufacturing. The role develops course outlines, prepares lesson plans, and evaluates student progress within accredited technical programs.

Qualifications include a certificate in mechatronics or related field and at least 3 years of hands-on experience with PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical controls.

Qualifications

• Must possess certificate level credential in mechatronics, automated systems, industrial systems, electro-mechanical technology or related field.
• A minimum of three (3) years of work experience in troubleshooting systems on automated cells including PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, electronic controls and motors.
• Basic computer skills; good interpersonal, organizational and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Instructs and supervises students in industrial systems, automated manufacturing and mechatronics programs.
• Develops outlines and lesson plans for credited technical/occupational courses; evaluates progress.
• Maintains supplies, equipment, budgets, certification requirements and documentation.
• Ensures safety and security in training area; participates in recruitment, retention and job placement efforts.
