Job summary

RF Labs is seeking a hands-on mechatronics engineer to own all hardware and electronics aspects of our products, networks, and installations. You will design, prototype, and test hardware while collaborating closely with engineers and operators to ship robust solutions.

Ideal candidates combine mechanical and electrical expertise with CAD proficiency, PCB design, and fabrication skills, while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment with global deployments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechatronics engineer with mechanical, electrical and programming skills.
• Ability to CAD and design hardware components is required.
• Experience with rapid prototyping and fabrication processes.
• Proven track record shipping physical products or field-ready hardware.
• Attention to detail to avoid misfit parts and unreliable assemblies.
• Comfort using AI tools to learn and improve designs.
• Collaborative mindset in a small, fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Hardware design for tables, RFID antennas, control electronics, and A/V systems.
• Prototype building and testing with CAD, 3D printing, laser cutting, electronics.
• R&D for new products, tracking mechanisms, and table performance.
• Handle networking and A/V setup at customer locations.
• Manage logistics for global hardware deployments.
