Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Electrical Hardware Engineer to join our team in Moberly, MO. You will lead hardware design, development, and layout of electronic control systems for our mechatronics products, with 85% focus on hardware design and 15% on validation and testing.

On-site five days a week in Moberly, MO, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and possibly travel occasionally to meet customer needs while ensuring compliance with EMC/EMI and functional safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electronic hardware design.
• Proficiency in PCB schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Solid understanding of EMC/EMI and functional safety.
• Experience in automotive or commercial vehicle industry and embedded C/C++ programming is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Hardware design: lead electrical schematic capture and PCB design/layout using Altium.
• Testing & validation: perform hands-on testing, verification and troubleshooting of your designs.
• Regulatory compliance: apply EMC/EMI and functional safety knowledge throughout the design process.
• Product development: support development of mechatronics products and contribute to cross-functional team efforts to production.
• Collaboration: minimal travel to meet performance needs.
