Job summary

Moog Inc. in Johnson City, TN is seeking an Electronics Design Engineer I to design electronics hardware schematics, PCB layouts, and Bills of Materials, and to lead hardware integration and testing.

The role involves supporting project planning, maintaining traceability from customer requirements to system specs, and developing test plans for unit and system levels. The position reports to the Electrical Engineering Manager, offers a first shift onsite schedule, and a collaborative environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related technical degree.
• 2+ years electronics hardware design and development experience.
• Experience designing PCB boards involving microprocessors and data communication.

Responsibilities

• Design electronics hardware schematics, PCB layouts, and Bills of Materials.
• Conduct electronics hardware level integration and test.
• Support multiple aspects of technical project planning, including designs, proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and technical interface meetings throughout the program lifecycle.
• Ensure traceability between customer requirements and system requirements.
• Develop engineering test requirements and unit/subsystem/system test plans.
• Represent Moog in a manner consistent with its creative technical reputation.
