Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Mechatronics Subsystem Lead to join the EVDD team in Dearborn. You will own cross-domain mechatronic subsystems, bridging Electronics, Mechanical Hardware, Features, Controls and Software to ensure flawless physical-to-electrical execution.

You will develop Subsystem Boundary Diagrams, ICDs, CDS, drive cross-function collaboration, and lead verification. A bachelor’s in engineering and 5+ years delivering vehicle systems are expected; hybrid work with onsite four

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years’ experience delivering products, systems, Design and Release, or features from conception to launch.
• 5 years of experience collaborating across engineering domains.
• 3+ years in a cross-functional team environment.
• 2+ years automotive propulsion subsystems experience.

Responsibilities

• Define electro-mechanical requirements and interfaces.
• Develop subsystem architectures and interfaces (hardware/software).
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver integration readiness.
• Lead issue triage and containment across domains.
• Align Agile software sprints with hardware timelines.
