Job summary

Valeo is seeking a Mechatronics Engineering Co-Op in Troy, MI for a part-time internship. You will assist with PCBa diagnostics, root cause analysis of ADAS ECU prototypes, sensor interface validation, and circuit simulations to ensure robustness against component tolerances and automotive conditions.

You must be a current student in Mechatronics or related engineering fields and able to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's in Mechatronics, System, Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering.
• Authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
• Hands-on hardware debugging and signal integrity considerations.

Responsibilities

• PCBa diagnostics and root cause analysis on ADAS ECU prototypes and HDI boards.
• Sensor interface and data validation from sensor to processing SoC (e.g., MIPI CSI-2, GMSL2).
• Circuit simulation and worst-case analysis using SIMetrix/SIMPLIS.
