Lam Research in Fremont, CA is seeking a Mechatronics Engineer 3 to join the Global Products Group. You will design and analyze mechanical systems for robotics and mechatronics products, lead cross-functional teams, and drive rapid prototyping and testing in the Lam Mechatronics lab.

Strong CAD/FEA skills and hands-on testing are essential. The role emphasizes collaboration, strong problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting aggressive deadlines.

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 3 years with a Master’s degree.
• Strong design background and solid engineering skills.
• Proficient with 3D CAD tools such as CREO, NX and similar.
• Experience with FEA/simulation tools (Creo Simulation, COMSOL, etc.).
• Capable of designing test stands and instrumentation for data acquisition.
• Willingness to learn new skills quickly with minimal guidance.
• Familiar with machining practices, sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing methods.
• Experience with additive manufacturing and rapid prototyping methods.
• Able to work in a team under aggressive deadlines and manage priorities.
• Strong problem solving, time management, and communication skills.
