Insight Global is seeking a Mechatronics Engineer in Austin, TX to design, integrate, and validate complex electromechanical systems for large-scale robotic and automated applications.

The role combines hands-on development with field support, requiring strong skills in C/C++, Python, embedded software, and telemetry. Occasional travel and on-site troubleshooting are expected to ensure system reliability and performance.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in mechatronics engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience supporting robotic or automated systems in a production environment.
• Strong knowledge of robotics, sensors, actuators, microcontrollers and embedded systems; proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ or Python, experience with PLCs and telemetry.

Mansioni

• Design, integrate, and validate electromechanical systems for large-scale robotics and industrial automation applications.
• Provide remote and on-site technical support for robotic systems, material handling equipment, sensors, actuators, and embedded control systems.
• Configure, tune, and commission servo drives, motors, encoders, and motion control hardware within EtherCAT-based architectures.
• Develop and maintain low-level embedded software for motion control, I/O management, and hardware interfacing using C/C++, Python.
