Mach Industries in San Francisco seeks a Mechanical Engineer to own end-to-end mechanical systems for mechatronics and robotics. You will drive ideation through deployment with high ownership and cross-functional collaboration.

You will tackle actuation, kinematics, sensor integration, and embedded controls, making early design decisions to enable scalable manufacturing and robust testing.

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of mechatronics and mechanism design.
• Hands-on experience turning ideas into hardware.
• Ability to lead reviews and convey risks clearly.
• Experience taking ambiguity and delivering workable design.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate challenges in actuation, kinematics, sensor integration and embedded controls.
• Make early design decisions from part selection to manufacturability at scale.
• Contribute to test plans, documentation, and reviews.
• Validate designs and iterate hardware based on performance.
