Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of industrial automation, robotics, and advanced manufacturing standards.
• Experience designing hands-on, engaging labs and curricula in technology and automation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering Technology or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant industrial experience in manufacturing, automation, robotics, PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective instruction for assigned courses.
• Conduct on-site labs at Wake Technical Community College and industry sites.
• Develop meaningful learning objectives and adapt instructional strategies for diverse learners.
• Maintain records of student work and attendance.
• Collaborate with Facilities and other departments to support equipment needs.
• Maintain regular office hours and use assessment techniques to improve learning.
