Job summary

The instructor collaborates with advisory committees to align equipment with advanced manufacturing and AI in the food production sector. The position is full-time, salaried, FLSA-exempt, and benefits-eligible, with campuses in Hall and Barrow

Qualifications

  • Associates degree in a related engineering/tech field is required.
  • Three years of work experience in industrial technology, mechatronics, or related field.
  • Credentialing to satisfy accrediting bodies for courses assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Develop program and course outlines, goals, and objectives.
  • Prepare lesson plans for classroom instruction for credited technology courses.
  • Develop syllabi to meet program and school objectives.
  • Evaluate student progress toward goals and objectives.
  • Maintain required documentation and administrative reports.
  • Attend staff development trainings and ensure safety in the training area.
  • Coordinate with advisory committees to identify equipment for advanced manufacturing and AI relevant to food production.
