Job summary

Lanier Technical College is hiring a full-time Engineering Technology Program Instructor to develop and deliver accredited courses across Hall/Barrow County campuses. You will create course outlines, prepare lesson plans, and evaluate student progress while ensuring safety and compliance with program requirements.

The role reports to the Dean of Advanced Technology & Engineering and offers an $80K annual salary with benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or MS with 18-semester hours in field from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Must be credentialed to satisfy accrediting bodies for courses assigned.

Responsibilities

• Develops program and course outlines, goals, and objectives.
• Prepares lesson plans for classroom instruction for credited Engineering Technology courses.
• Develops syllabi to meet program and school objectives.
• Evaluates students’ progress in attaining goals and objectives.
• Maintains program certification requirements and required documentation.
• Advises students regarding plan of study and career opportunities.
• Assists with recruitment, retention and job placement efforts.
