Job summary

CBRE is seeking candidates for the Mechatronic Apprentice program in Tulsa. This paid apprenticeship provides 9 weeks of classroom instruction followed by on-the-job learning to prepare you for a Maintenance or Controls Technician role.

You will gain hands-on experience with material handling equipment, safety procedures, and preventative maintenance while supporting CBRE clients and teams. The program offers growth opportunities after successful completion.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Attendance of a 12-week in-person paid training.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and meet physical requirements.
• Ability to calculate simple figures (percentages).
• Experience using powered or non-powered hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Resolve electrical and mechanical issues on material handling equipment.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Complete and document preventative maintenance routines.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Foster positive working relationships with Client and Operations teams.
• Perform other job-related duties as needed.
