Job summary

General Motors seeks a Software Quality Architect to design robust testing strategies for mechatronic ECUs. You will architect automation frameworks aligned with SI platform architecture and drive CI adoption across teams.

You will provide technical leadership on test strategy, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and identify enhancements to CI systems and quality processes. Travel up to 10% and a hybrid work setup are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree as stated, with extensive software quality/testing experience.
• 8+ years in software quality/test architecture roles or related occupations.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect robust testing strategies and automation frameworks for mechatronic systems.
• Align CI system design with VMEC user requirements and SDV Mechatronic Platform architecture.
• Lead cross-functional teams on test strategy, CI adoption, and quality practices for ECUs.
• Identify and implement enhancements to CI systems, test infrastructure, and quality processes to improve reliability and feedback speed.
• Travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
• Report to local office as part of hybrid work policy (3 days in-office, 2 days remote).
