Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to shape and scale engineering platforms for embedded software in software-defined vehicles. You will lead cross-team efforts, define automated test frameworks, and connect software, tooling, and release activities into a coherent engineering system.

You will guide multi-team modernization, establish standardized test frameworks, and drive high-impact initiatives across CI/CD pipelines and experimental environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, software engineering, or related field.
• Typically 10+ years experience validating software systems, including leadership of architecture across organizations.
• Deep understanding of software architecture for real-time systems.
