Job summary
Five Star Management in Houston, TX is seeking a Mechatronic Maintenance Technician to perform corrective and preventive maintenance on ABB robots and automated systems. You will design and optimize using SolidWorks and manage maintenance data to improve MTTR/MTBF.
You will troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical diagrams, support CNC and 3D printing processes, and contribute to automation tasks and KPIs with advanced Office tools and CMMS.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years in industrial/mechatronic maintenance.
- Strong ABB robot programming and maintenance experience.
- Proficient in SolidWorks 2D/3D design.
- Advanced Microsoft Office, esp. Excel (pivot tables/macros).
- Familiar with CMMS and maintenance KPIs (MTTR/MTBF).
Responsibilities
- Maintain and program ABB robots; perform preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated systems.
- Create 2D/3D SolidWorks drawings for fabrication.
- Manage spare parts inventory and support CNC/machining & 3D printing tasks.
- Read and interpret pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical diagrams; use sensors.
- Record maintenance activities in CMMS and monitor KPIs (MTTR/MTBF).
- Assist in automation tasks and continuous improvement initiatives.
