Job summary

Leadec Holding in Louisville, KY is seeking a Facility Mechatronic Technician (Multi-Craft) to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve industrial equipment and processes. You will install, service, and repair electrical, mechanical, and automation systems on site.

The role requires hands-on experience with PLCs, robotics, and control systems, plus the ability to read schematics. You will collaborate with engineers and other technicians, perform preventive maintenance, and train apprentices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in industrial maintenance preferred.
• Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent training.
• 5+ years in industrial maintenance duties.
• Knowledge of PLC programming and robotic systems is a plus.
• Mechatronics training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical, mechanical, and automation systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Troubleshoot problems and diagnose issues across systems and equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.
• Install and maintain automation and control systems; work with robotics.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and ISO practices.
• Collaborate with engineers, mechanics, and technicians on projects.
• Provide guidance to apprentices and junior technicians.
• Maintain accurate records and inventory of parts and tools.
