CBRE Group, Inc. invites you to join the Mechatronic Apprenticeship at our Global Workplace Solutions team.

This paid program combines classroom instruction with on-the-job training to develop maintenance and controls technician skills within a world-class logistics operation. You will learn to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on material handling equipment, install and repair automated packaging lines, and complete preventive maintenance while tracking inventory.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical training or apprenticeship preferred.
• Experience with material handling equipment is a plus.
• Ability to read and follow maintenance procedures.
• Strong problem solving and manual dexterity required.

Responsibilities

• Solve electrical and mechanical issues related to material handling equipment.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Complete and document preventative maintenance routines.

About the Role

The Mechatronics and Robotics Apprenticeship program offers an extensive paid training in the Maintenance Technical field. Participants seeking an exciting career as a Maintenance or Controls Technician gain valuable skills through a combination of 9 weeks of classroom instruction and on-the-job learning that prepares them to join our account for a world-class leader.

What You’ll Do

• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.

• Complete and properly document preventative maintenance routines.

• Track and store department inventory.

• Cultivate positive working relationships with our Client and Operations Maintenance team members.

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
