CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking candidates for a Maintenance Technician apprenticeship program in Romulus, MI. The role offers extensive paid training: 9 weeks of classroom instruction plus on‑the‑job learning to prepare you for automated packaging/distribution equipment maintenance.

As part of CBRE's safety‑driven team, you will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose electrical/mechanical issues, track inventory, and collaborate with client's operations staff to keep systems

Qualifications

• Ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical issues on material handling equipment.
• Experience with maintenance of automated packaging and distribution systems.
• Capability to document preventative maintenance activities.
• Ability to collaborate with client and operations teams.
• Commitment to following safety procedures.
• Comfort with basic math for simple calculations.

About the Role

The Mechatronics and Robotics Apprenticeship program offers an extensive paid training in the Maintenance Technical field. Participants seeking an exciting career as a Maintenance or Controls Technician gain valuable skills through a combination of 9 weeks of classroom instruction and on‑the‑job learning that prepares them to join our account for a world‑class leader.

• Cultivate positive working relationships with our Client and Operations Maintenance team members.
• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.

What You'll Need
