Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Mechanized Welding Operator at the Palmetto, FL location. The role involves operating mechanized welding equipment in an ASME pressure vessel shop, with SAW and GMAW processes, inspections, and mentoring junior welders. Training on 1st shift, then transition to 3rd shift (11:00pm-7:00am).

Starting levels pay range from $25.00/hr to $31.00/hr with $2 shift differential and annual incentives; relocation support may be provided.

Qualifications

• 3 years of mechanized welding experience with SAW and GMAW.
• 3 years of experience with GTAW and GMAW on aluminum materials.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain mechanized welding equipment to produce quality welds using SAW and GMAW.
• Perform fitting, cutting, and grinding operations as required.
• Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards and adjust as needed.
• Train and mentor junior welders on techniques and best practices.
