Honeywell Technologies is seeking a Mechanized Welding Operator for its Palmetto, FL facility. You will operate mechanized welding equipment (SAW/GMAW) in an ASME pressure vessel context and report to the Welding Supervisor. Initial training on 1st shift leads to 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:00pm).

Level pay starts at $25.00/hr with $2 shift differential and incentives; Levels 2 and 3 pay $28 and $31 respectively with the same incentives. Relocation support may be provided.

Competenze

• 3 years of mechanized welding experience including SAW and GMAW
• 3 years of GTAW and GMAW on aluminum materials
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting welding blueprints and specifications
• Strong knowledge of AWS welding symbols
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and lift up to 30 lbs

• Operate and maintain mechanized welding equipment to produce welds using SAW and GMAW
• Perform fitting, cutting and grinding operations as required
• Inspect welds to ensure quality and adjust as needed
• Train and mentor junior welders in welding techniques
• Collaborate with team members to optimize welding operations and workflows
