Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Experience designing precision mechanical space mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Support design and development of precision gimbal assemblies and pointing mechanisms.
• Assist in defining mechanism performance requirements and design margins.
• Perform design trade studies and analyses for gimbal configurations.
• Support qualification activities including shock, vibration, and thermal vacuum testing.
• Prepare design docs, analyses, and test procedures for review.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on integration and interfaces.
• Contribute to production transition with tolerance analysis and DFM/DFA reviews.
• Grow under mentorship in a space mechanism design environment.
