Qualifications

• Experience designing precision mechanisms for space/aerospace/high-reliability applications.
• Independent ownership of design, analysis and qualification of gimbal assemblies or similar systems.
• Knowledge of mechanism kinematics, dynamics and structural analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own design and development of precision gimbal assemblies for space-based terminals from concept to flight qualification.
• Define mechanism performance requirements, error budgets and design margins across domains.
• Plan and execute mechanism qualification including vibration, shock and thermal vacuum testing.
