RTX's Advanced Products Center in McKinney, TX seeks a Mechanical Engineer to join the Texas Materials and Process verification design team. You will work on automated optical inspection equipment, robotic assembly and test cells, and contribute to machine programming inputs into our system.

The role requires hands-on, proactive problem-solving, collaboration with product and quality engineers, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in STEM by start date.
• Experience with 3D CAD modeling.
• Experience with robotics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical solutions from concept to model and drawings.
• Manage small projects, quotes, make-or-buy decisions, and budgets.
• Support automation software and system troubleshooting.
