RealREPP, a national recruiting firm, partners with a Tamarac, FL mechanical subcontractor to hire an experienced VDC Manager for large-scale projects.

Requires 8+ years VDC leadership, ability to lead a VDC team, read drawings, develop pipe layout, and coordinate with Navisworks & Revit MEP; hospitals preferred.

The role is full-time in office with competitive salary and benefits.

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• 8+ years VDC experience required.
• Experience in leadership role.

RealREPP, a national full-service recruiting firm, is partnering with a well-established mechanical subcontractor based in Tamarac, FL to assist in hiring an experienced VDC Manager! This will be a crucial addition to the team as they work on large-scale mechanical projects. Prior experience in VDC leadership at a mechanical subcontractor is required. Experience on large-scale mechanical projects required (hospitals preferred).

Key Responsibilities

• Ability to read contract drawings & submittals
• Prepare shop/detail drawings using Revit
• Ability to perform material take offs
• Confirm & maintain quality
• Develop pipe layout & isometric drawings
• Develop/maintain HVAC & plumbing piping part families
• Make coordination changes to drawings
• In depth understanding of codes & installation
• Lead VDC team
