Qualifications

• Degree level or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience in a mechanical testing environment preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to multi-task in a busy lab.

Responsibilities

• Interpretation of internal and client requirements
• Supervising allocated staff and day-to-day management of the relevant discipline
• Operating complex mechanical testing equipment
• Maintaining accurate and systematic records
• Performing other duties to fulfil the demands of the laboratory
• Performing general duties in accordance with Element's internal procedures, quality as well as Health and Safety system
• Application of instrumentation and the setting up of complex data capture equipment
• Report writing, data interpretation and analysis
