Yoh is seeking a Mechanical Test Technician for a contract opportunity in Newark, DE. The role requires experience with mechanical testing equipment and lab safety culture, with pay of $22–$25 per hour depending on experience.

You will conduct mechanical, thermal and wear tests, collect and analyze data, and support R&D on material development testing. Ideal candidates will have hands-on lab experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Experience in a lab environment with mechanical testing equipment such as Instron, Falex Equipment, Microscopes / Keyence, Lab Balances, Mechanical press, Ovens, 3D Printers, etc.
• Proven experience in working in a lab environment and safety culture
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PP, Microsoft Work, and Sharepoint)
• Paying $22 - $25 per hour; depending on experience

What You'll Be Doing:

• Conduct application specific, mechanical, thermal, and friction & wear tests
• Collect, analyze and report data and store per internal guidance
• Adhere to Test Methods and Industry test standards
• Support R&D on material development testing

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• Experience in a lab environment with mechanical testing equipment such as Instron, Falex Equipment, Microscopes / Keyence, Lab Balances, Mechanical press, Ovens, 3D Printers, etc.
• Proven experience in working in a lab environment and safety culture

Estimated Min Rate: $22.00

Estimated Max Rate: $25.00
