Job summary

Yoh is seeking a Reliability Test Engineer to support Instron/ME Test programs in Mountain View, CA. The role focuses on executing established reliability test procedures, operating Instron tensile machines, and running vibration tables, with hands-on ME Test background.

You will document results, analyze data, and communicate progress across development cycles, ensuring safe operation of all lab equipment and timely test updates.

Qualifications

• Experience executing reliability tests per established procedures.
• Hands-on experience with Instron tensile testing and vibration tables.
• Mechanical testing experience or education in ME Test.
• Ability to document test setups and results with photos.
• Ability to set up and run test equipment with understanding of tests.
• Record and report test results using spreadsheets and charts.
• Experience with thermal chambers for temperature and humidity testing.
• Responsible for multiple tests and products across development life cycle.
• Ensure safe operation of test setups and proper use of lab equipment.

Reliability Test Engineer - Instron/ME Test

Required:

• Follow and execute established reliability test procedures and perform various environmental, mechanical, and certification testing.
• Experience operating Instron machines for tensile testing and vibration tables is an absolute must have.
• Mechanical testing experience and/or education with hands on ME Test experience.
• Photographic documentation of test setup and results.
• Set up and run test equipment and understand what’s happening during testing, NOT just a technician who does repeatable tests without thorough knowledge.
• Record, analyze, and report test results using spreadsheets, charts, and slides.
• Thermal chambers for temperature and humidity testing.
• Provide timely updates on testing progress.
• Responsible for several tests and products throughout the development life cycle.
• Responsible for the safe operation of test setups.
• Responsible for proper use of lab equipment (only ones they've been trained to use).

Estimated Min Rate: $25.00

Estimated Max Rate: $35.00 (Depends on experience)
