Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a test lab or an Associate Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Mechanical force testing experience preferred.
• Experience with Instron or similar testing equipment highly desirable.
• Comfortable working hands-on with testing equipment and instrumentation.
• Ability to accurately follow test procedures and document results.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day testing activities within an engineering test lab
• Set up and perform mechanical force testing using Instron or similar test equipment
• Assist with test setup, equipment operation and collection of test data
• Follow established testing procedures and specifications
• Accurately document test results and testing activities
• Work with engineering team members to support testing needs
• Maintain an organized and safe laboratory work environment
