Job summary

SAF-HOLLAND, Inc. is seeking a Test Engineer to lead development, validation, and continuous improvement of commercial vehicle systems.

You will plan and coordinate product validation activities across laboratory and field environments, develop DVP&Rs, and maintain test specifications to ensure safe, repeatable validation. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, testing methods and problem solving.
• Experience in product development, testing, validation, or mechanical systems.
• Experience with data acquisition systems and engineering analysis tools.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and standards.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently with strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Promotes organization, cleanliness, preventive maintenance and operational discipline.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and coordinate product validation activities (lab, field, durability and environmental tests).
• Develop and maintain DVP&R, test methods, procedures and specifications.
• Design and fabricate test fixtures, adapters, brackets and other lab setups for safe, repeatable validation.
• Support testing by providing practical mechanical solutions and appropriate instrumentation.
