Job summary

Denken Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Test Engineer to join the Electrical Integration Lab (EIL) to validate software and hardware for autonomous vehicles. This onsite role centers on dyno systems and electrical test assets to ensure client releases meet high standards of quality and safety before they reach the vehicle.

You will collaborate with software and hardware engineers, execute structured test plans, analyze results, and help advance lab testing processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 4 to 6 years of work experience in a test, validation, or integration engineering role.
• Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical integration and testing of systems and subsystems.
• Experience with HIL systems like dSPACE, CANoe, LabVIEW (or similar).
• Experience in an R&D electronics environment or electrical testing lab.
• Experience executing and documenting test plans in a structured test environment.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills; you're methodical when something doesn't behave as expected.
• Experience with electronic lab equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power analyzers, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, programmable power supplies, chillers, accelerometers, and torque sensors.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced lab environment with evolving hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Document test procedures, results, and defects with precision and clarity.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and build automation for our dyno test infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of test processes, tooling, and automation within the lab.
• Support test asset configuration management and track hardware/software build states.
• Execute software flashing procedures for vehicle electronic control units (ECUs) and other programmable components.

• Test Engineer, Electrical Integration Lab (EIL)
• Location: 1149 Chess (fully onsite)
• Client is looking for a Test Engineer to join the Electrical Integration Lab (EIL), where we validate the software and hardware systems that power our autonomous vehicles.
• In this role, you'll be at the center of our validation pipeline, executing rigorous tests on dynamometer (dyno) systems and electrical test assets to ensure client software releases meet the highest standards of quality and safety before they reach the vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual and automated structured test plans on dynamometer systems to validate client software releases across platforms like DynoBot Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) and electrical test assets.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing on EIL test assets in support of SW release cycles.
